CDRTI and NDS have created infographic posters for use in healthcare settings to sensitize staff and medical professionals to the special communication needs of the Deaf community. Posters are available in English, French, and Inuktut. Our first poster explains the importance of communicating visually with Deaf patients. The second poster explains how the Video Relay Service (VRS) can be used to communicate with Deaf patients.
