CDRTI and NDS operate in accordance with guidelines from the Nunavut Research Institute (NRI). NRI is responsible for licensing research in the health, natural, and social science disciplines, as required under Nunavut’s Scientists Act. NRI ensures that Nunavummiut are consulted and engaged in research, and helping build research partnerships that address needs and concerns of Nunavummiut.
